About Milan Lay

Milan joins Kidsave with a passion for communications and nonprofits. When she has time, she enjoys completing pro bono social media work for nonprofits across the country. Milan has a Bachelor of Arts in Civic Communication and Media from Willamette University. Milan previously worked in development and communication for an LA nonprofit before joining the Kidsave team. She’s looking forward to working with the communications team at Kidsave and helping kids find their forever families. When she’s not working, Milan enjoys taking photos of nature, watching comedies, and baking chocolate chip cookies.

Over the weekend, Kidsave held it's annual Weekend Miracles Holiday Event in Culver City. The venue was festively decorated to celebrate the holiday season... It was a joyous occasion and we are deeply grateful for our volunteers and supporters who made it all possible.

Brenda felt connected to Chayan as soon as he arrived from Colombia. β€œThe moment that sticks out most to me is the second he got off the plane.” She remembers Chayan running up to her in a blur of yellow,β€œ he had these little yellow glasses and his yellow shirt, and he was the tiniest little thing with this big smile on his face, running up to me.”
