Why older kids in foster care need champions LIKE YOU.
For older kids in foster care, life can be tough. Placed into care through no fault of their own, older kids are often overlooked and forgotten. Many are left to navigate life without an adequate support system, left to age out, all alone.
They need a Champion.
How can you be a champion?
There are lots of ways you can be a champion for older kids in foster care through Kidsave. You can spread the word and share content, donate, fundraise, and becoming a mentor, host, or adoptive family. Explore those options on this page and download the printable guide here.

Research shows that kids in foster care who have at least one constant, caring adult in their life have a greater chance to thrive and reach their real potential. While many kids in our programs are looking for their forever family, many are looking for caring mentors or hosts to love, support, and help guide them through life. Kidsave’s unique programs build connections organically over time. We give kids a voice and a choice in who they want to spend more time with and who becomes their family.

The Weekend Miracles program in LA and Houston connects local kids in foster care with mentors, hosts, and forever families. The Summer Miracles program connects children from overseas with loving, supportive families throughout the U.S.A.
